Affiliate Marketing still worth it in 2024?

I am looking for experienced perspectives on the continued viability of affiliate marketing for businesses in 2024. My team is evaluating our digital marketing mix and we're seeing a lot of chatter about saturation, rising CPA costs, and the evolving landscape of consumer trust. Specifically, I'm interested in understanding: * **ROI:** Are businesses still seeing a positive return on investment from their affiliate programs, or has the cost of acquisition outpaced the revenue generated? * **Channel Effectiveness:** Which affiliate channels (influencers, content sites, comparison engines, etc.) are proving most effective this year? * **Partnership Strategies:** How are successful companies differentiating their affiliate partnerships to foster genuine collaboration and avoid a purely transactional approach? * **Mitigating Risks:** What are the key challenges or risks associated with affiliate marketing in the current climate, and what strategies are in place to manage them (e.g., fraud detection, brand alignment)? Any insights from those actively managing or benefiting from affiliate programs would be greatly appreciated as we make strategic decisions.

My advice? Don't expect quick riches. It takes time and effort, especially with content creation.

Yeah, definitely still viable. But you need good traffic sources. Can't just slap links everywhere and expect sales anymore.

I've found some success, but it's a grind. Building an audience that trusts you is half the battle.

Yes, but requires high quality traffic. Try financial or tech niches.

Totally agree with the above. Quality traffic is key. Focusing on niches like finance or tech seems to be where it's at for higher conversions lately.
